- Q: Am I alone?
A: If you make yourself `alone' by trapping yourself in a cage,
then you will be. Fear needs companions. If you can learn to
understand fear and not let it control you, being alone will not
usually be a bad feeling.
- Q: How do I handle feeling alone?
A: Find a companion. Find parts of yourself which have never met
and join them together; find some sort of harmony in your mind.
Find a peer with whom to share life experiences. Find an idea to
give a direction to your feelings. Find an emotion to give
significance to your thoughts.
- Q: Why?
A: If anything is possible in the right environment, what's to
stop existence from existing in the environment in which it exists?
- Q: How?
A: Consider how mathematics is a system of behavior. It's not
like a box with boundaries, or a set of limits; rather, it's a way
of describing the Universe. Rather than being an object, mathematics
is a tool; the Universe, likewise, is not stationary, but in motion.
- Q: Is conscious life meant to be?
A: Life is simply a way of saying, `something that perpetuates
itself.' In this Universe, resources are limited (this allows
some very useful laws of physics), so this perpetuation causes
competition over resources. Organisms which are `conscious' simply
have a very high level of self-awareness; this is just a mechanism
for balancing and evaluating internal drives.
- Q: Are humans a mistake?
A: Humans are a part of a sliver of the Universe. They are a
component of a situation. Is one plus one a mistake?
- Q: Are you trying to impersonate God?
A: No, just trying save him some work.
- Q: Why should I trust your answers?
A: You shouldn't. You should make up your own mind. All I can
offer is my opinion.
