Using libfaim, I wrote a fun little bot a while back that handled commands from my friends on AIM, doing calculations and remembering notes. This was, I believe, one of the first bots on AIM. I have only found one that was online before mine, LeknorChat4 (first known bot-induced terrorizing on AIM) I was contacted at one point by a company interested in using an AIM bot internally. After some communications about the code (it has next-to-no comments), I didn't hear from them again. Who knows if they ever used it. The original code no longers functions on AIM (protocol changes, et cetera). I'm trying to get it to work with the latest release of libfaim, but, seeing as libfaim is completely undocumented, it might take me some time. Check back. I'm also pretty sure I beat GooglyMinotaur to the punch. "The first of its kind?" Yeah. Sure.

The version I'm trying to update is the last one available on my old webserver, dated Jan 24 2001. The oldest modification date to any source file is 1999-10-15 08:35:36, but I may have borrowed that file from another project. Before that, the earliest modification date is Feb 19 2000.
